Founder & Managing Partner
Tan Yong Koon is the Founding and Managing Partner for Chambers of Koon. He has been in practice since 2013. He obtained his Bachelor of Law from Multimedia University, Ayer Keroh, Malacca.
Tan Yong Koon completed his pupilage with Messrs Armiy Rais and was called to the Malaysian Bar in 2013.
After completing his pupilage, Tan Yong Koon worked with Messrs K.Y. Sim & Co, a firm dealing in debt recoveries for Malaysian Banks. With all his education and guidance from Messrs K.Y. Sim & Co, namely Mr Sim Kok Yew, who is the Managing Partner, he decided to handle general litigation matters such as debt recovery, fraud cases, corporate disputes and personal injury cases.
